Darts

v0.9 BETA by Just Another Game Dev

Pull up to the board for a quick game of darts. Play on your own against a bot, or host a lobby and play up to four players online.

Throwing is a three-click skill shot: aim, then set the power, then time the accuracy. Simple to pick up, hard to get right.

Game modes

• Freeplay: throw as much as you like.
• Countdown 501 / 301: count down to exactly zero, with optional double-out.
• Around the World: hit every number in order.
• Cricket: close 20 to 15 and the bull, and score on the numbers your opponents haven't closed.
• HORSE (1 shot or 3 shots): the leader sets a shot and everyone else has to match it or earn a letter. Spell HORSE and you're out. Last one standing wins.

Play with friends

• Host a lobby straight from the main menu. It opens your router's port automatically with UPnP, and friends join with your IP address.
• Up to 4 players, with a scoreboard that fits however many are playing.
• Chat in the lobby and during the game.
• Add bots to fill empty seats. If a player drops mid-game, a bot takes over.
• The host picks the game mode and crosshair setting, and everyone in the lobby can see them.
• You can watch other players line up their shots live.

Bots

Easy, Medium and Hard bots pick a sensible target for the game mode, then hit it more or less often depending on their level. There is also a Custom bot where you set the exact hit chance, so you can build the opponent you want.

Power	Click as the bar swings
Accuracy	Click as the bar swings
Chat (online)	Click the chat box, type, and press Enter

Online play notes

• Hosting needs UDP port 24565. UPnP will try to open it for you. If your router doesn't support it (or you're behind CGNAT), forward the port manually, or play on a LAN or VPN.
• Friendly games only. The host trusts what players send, so it isn't cheat-proof.
• There is no turn timer.
